UPDATE: The cathedral will reopen on Thursday, 15 February 2024. You are welcome to join us for Holy Communion at 10am.
To facilitate the installation of a new boiler, Down Cathedral will be closed for a brief period in Jan/Feb 2024.
We still don’t have an exact start date, but we anticipate this being around mid-January. This is why we have not scheduled Sunday services in the Cathedral beyond 14th January – though this could change.
Weekday Evening Prayer will continue as a streamed service only. Thursday Communions and the First Friday Healing Service will relocate to Down Parish Church.
Cathedral Parishioners are encouraged to join any of the other LAMP Churches for worship, with Saul and Down Parish being the two closest by distance.
We will update this post when the start date has been decided.
