It is with great sadness that we announce the death today of Mrs Margaret Saunders, beloved wife of the late Revd Teddy Saunders, much loved mother, grandmother and great–grandmother.
Another inspiring servant of God departs this life. Margaret shared so movingly in our cathedral recently as part of the Service of Thanksgiving for the life of Queen Elizabeth II.
The Cathedral family sends sincere condolences to Hilary her daughter, Bishop David and the wider family circle.
